How do I get started?

From the home page, click on the "Card Design Boutique". You can then begin to create your card. If you need help, click on the "video tutorial link" which will guide you step-by-step on how to make a card.

 
I'm not sure how to make a card, what do I do?

From the home page, click on the "Card Design Boutique". Once there, click on the ARROW for the tutorial video link at the top right section of the page.

 
How long will it take to ship my order?

Orders received via www.Design-Your-Thoughts.com Monday through Friday by 1pm PST will be processed and shipped the same business day. Orders received after 1pm PST may be processed the same business day, but will not ship until the following business day. What are the card papers made out of?

Our products are made from some of the finest specialty papers that money can buy. The card stock weights vary from 30LB bond to 110LB card stock and feature a variety of colors, textures and finishes. While some of the specialty papers used to handcraft our products are imported from places such as the Bavarian Alps, others are manufactured domestically, are acid free and contain 50% recycled fiber including 30% post consumer waste fiber which is eco-friendly.

 
Do you manufacture any products other than greeting cards?

While our main focus is the business of greeting cards, we are also able to produce your specialty projects including event invitations, announcements and associated stationery in bulk based upon your specifications. Pricing for such items will be set based upon your project. How will I know if my order has been successfully received?

Once your order has been completed and submitted to us for processing, your checkout process will be handled by PayPal. You will receive a confirmation from PayPal once your payment has been processed.

 
Do you manufacture photo cards?

Yes, however due to the varying colors and finishes of our specialty papers, we must give great consideration to the manufacture of photo cards to ensure color clarity and quality while maintaining product affordability. As a result, there is a limited selection of specialty paper options available for use with greeting card keepsake projects that will include photographs. Is there a discount for bulk item orders?

We are able to produce any greeting keepsake product presented on our site in bulk quantities (minimum order required) with customization based upon your specifications. The bulk item discount scale is as follows:
• 50 – 99 15% Discount
• 100 – 149 20% Discount
• 150 – 199 25% Discount
• 200 + 30% Discount

Note: In order to receive the posted discount, purchaser must order bulk quantities of any one item.

 
Will you ship your products internationally? What is the fee?

Again, it is our pleasure to accommodate your shipping needs and we are more than happy to mail your order anywhere in the world. Simply provide us the destination address and we’ll take care of the rest. If we are unable to ship your order for any reason, we will contact you immediately. Do you manufacture your greeting card keepsakes in any languages other than English?

Here at Design Your Thoughts, we value all of our clients -- both domestic and international. With that in mind, we are working hard to incorporate the availability of our products in other languages to better serve your needs. It is our expectation that this language conversion service will be available in the future. In the meantime, if you are interested in our product offerings but require them to be translated into another language, please email customerservice@design-your-thoughts.com and we will do our best to try and accommodate your request.

 
Can I modify the greeting content of a card found on your site?

Absolutely, but only for use on our site. During the design process, simply cut and paste any greeting found on our site into the custom greeting box and modify as appropriate. Your greeting will then be printed on your card based upon your specifications.

Can I create a card using a greeting I’ve seen on a card elsewhere?

While it is our goal to create a positive and gratifying design experience for you, we regret that we are limited in what we will print on our cards. When designing your greeting card keepsake, you must either use a “pre-designed thought (greeting)” found on our website OR, a greeting that was written solely by you and for which you retain the intellectual property rights. Specifically, we will not plagiarize the literary works of another person or entity – hence the theme of our company – Design YOUR Thoughts. Do you accept orders by mail?

Due to the unique design process required to create our products, we do not currently accept orders by mail.

Yes. From the home page, click on the "Card Design Boutique". Once there, the link for the video tutorial is at the top of the page. Click the arrow and the video will load and play.

I have questions about an order I’d like to place, do you accept orders by phone?

If you have a question about an order and require assistance, customer service representatives are available by phone between the hours of 9am & 5pm PST, Monday through Friday (excluding Federal holidays). Please contact us at 1 (888) 924-4398 and we’d be happy to help. Note: Orders placed by phone do not need to be submitted via the internet for processing.

Will you mail the cards directly to my intended recipient(s) from your facility or are they shipped to me?

For your convenience, we will gladly mail your card(s) directly to your intended recipient(s) based upon your specification. Or, if you prefer, upon completion of your order we can mail your purchased items directly to you.
